Working with Tables

This web hosting template is table intense. The text you are reading now is in a single table nested within another table. You don't really have to worry about the logistics of all that, since we've pre-defined everything for you, but you will need to stay within the confines of each laid out cell, so your page looks the way it was intended to look.

Friendly Advice

If you have never worked with web hosting templates, please make note! This table web hosting template has very strict parameters. If you (even accidentally) happen to "move" one of the table borders by dragging it with your mouse, the web hosting template will no longer perform properly.

You may be able to drag it back so that it "appears" it is working properly, but frontpage web hosting will have readjusted the variable portion of the web hosting template to a fixed number, and the fixed number will depend on what your OWN resolution is at the time you've done this.

If you EVER drag a tables border in a pre-designed web hosting template, immediately go to Edit, Undo. This is the only sure way to get the appropriate sizing back.

Modify the "Your web hosting Service" here graphic in a graphics program (see FAQ page for specific instructions).
Modify copyright information by opening and changing the file "include_bot.htm".
Replace the text on the pages with your own information, and rename the buttons to suit your needs. If you are unfamiliar with changing button names, see "Changing Button Names" on the right of this page.
If you need additional pages, use the included page web hosting templates (information on the page web hosting templates is on the "included.htm" page in this web hosting template.
Modify the feedback form for use with your own hosting service. Brief instructions are at the top of the page "feedback.htm".
Save your web and publish it to your server!

Changing the Button Names

With the new web open in frontpage web hosting, go to View, Navigation. See that "organizational-chart-looking" diagram of the files? That's where you will change button/banner names. Simply right click over the box with the name you want to change, select "Rename", and type in what you want to appear on the buttons & banners.
